About The Position

The IT Intern will support Broan-NuTone's Applications team by contributing to technology initiatives that improve business processes, data insights, and user experiences across the organization. The role provides hands-on exposure to software development, business intelligence, AI technologies, application support, and enterprise systems. The intern will collaborate with experienced IT professionals and work on real-world projects that drive business value. The internship is expected to run from June through August. The anticipated schedule is full-time, with work performed onsite and remotely based on business needs.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and business processes.

Responsibilities

Support the design, development, testing, and enhancement of business applications and software solutions.
Assist in analyzing and validating data to identify trends, improve data quality, and support business decision-making.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.
Participate in AI-related initiatives, including testing, validation, and process improvement projects.
Help track, diagnose, and resolve application issues while supporting ongoing system improvements.
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to end users.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support business technology needs.
Assist with documenting processes, system configurations, and technical solutions.
Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
