About The Position

We are looking for a motivated and technically curious IT Intern to help maintain internal technology infrastructure, support employees, and assist with critical IT projects related to scaling the business. This practical internship is intended for current college students with 1–2 years remaining before graduation who are seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic startup environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of macOS and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with standard remote desktop tools and ticketing/helpdesk systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.

Nice To Haves

• Experience administering a modern collaboration suite, such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi configuration.
• Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of IT support for employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Prepare, configure, and deploy Mac and Windows hardware for incoming employees.
• Manage user accounts and access across various platforms.
• Securely wipe and decommission hardware for departing staff.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of company-owned equipment and licenses, tracking and accounting for all assets.
• Create and update internal knowledge base articles, tutorials, and IT best-practice guides for employee self-service.
• Assist the Operations/IT team with projects related to scaling infrastructure, security audits, and preparing for future regulatory needs.
