IT Helpdesk Summer Intern
About The Position
Syska Hennessy Group is a global leader in consulting, engineering, and commissioning services, specializing in MEP, information and communication technology, architectural lighting, vertical transportation, and commissioning. They are seeking an IT Summer Intern to join their team in their New York office headquarters. The IT Summer Intern will be involved in assisting the IT Helpdesk team with all Local Area and Wide Area Network infrastructure items firm-wide. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology
- Be a Junior or Senior in college
- Able to solve problems.
- Good organizational skills
- Strong and effective oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational, oral, and written communication skills, time management, strong problem solving and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on enterprise customer server and satisfaction.
Nice To Haves
- Previous internship preferred.
Responsibilities
- Attend the 10-week Summer Internship program.
- Communicate with IT clients and appropriately escalate their issues, if necessary, in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and document and repair commuters within established guidelines with assistance.
- Solve problems.
- Respond to and perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs on systems and peripherals if needed.
