The Workstation and Client Architect will lead and ensure a secure, standardized, and scalable Windows client environment across the enterprise as part of the 3M IT End User Computing (EUC) organization. This role determines and owns the client architecture for workstation platforms, endpoint management, and security controls, implementing solutions that reduce complexity, risk, and operational cost. By determining and aligning workstation strategy with enterprise architecture and security standards, this role strengthens compliance and audit readiness. The Architect leads close collaboration with security, infrastructure, operations, and application teams to ensure integrated, consistent, and enterprise‑ready solutions. This role leads the definition and implementation of client technology strategies, standards, and roadmaps, proactively modernizing the client environment. The Architect supports and guides engineering and operations teams with architectural expertise, improving delivery quality, resilience, and reliability. Overall, this role plays an essential role in protecting the enterprise, supporting digital workplace initiatives, and maximizing the return on investment in client platforms and security capabilities.
