About The Position

The IT EUC Desktop Engineer at 3M is a hands-on, solutions-focused technologist responsible for building and scaling a modern, reliable, and secure end-user computing environment across a large enterprise. This role is crucial for enhancing workforce productivity and operational resilience through the standardization of device configurations, strengthening endpoint security, and delivering seamless user experiences at scale. The engineer will be involved in designing and implementing platforms, automating processes, and collaborating closely with various security and infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in endpoint engineering, coupled with curiosity, craftsmanship, and a commitment to continuously improving the quality of IT services. This position offers significant ownership over endpoint platforms, automation, and configuration, moving beyond mere maintenance. The role also involves leadership, influencing standards, guiding best practices, and actively shaping a modern end-user computing strategy. The individual will serve as the Global Process Lead (GPL) for CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM), Windows Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS), and the Oracle Java Platform. The work performed in this role directly contributes to improving device reliability, user satisfaction, overall security posture, and operational efficiency throughout the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) year(s) of experience in IT end user computing or IT infrastructure environment in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
