About The Position

Brain Co. is hiring an IT Engineer to manage IT and workplace operations at its San Francisco office. The role keeps the office running and employees productive by managing AV and conferencing systems, office equipment and vendors, providing first-line IT support, and handling daily systems access in Okta in partnership with the central Security & IT team. The IT Engineer also manages onboarding so new hires have their laptops and accounts ready before their first day, and supports offboarding by removing system access. This is a hands-on, independent role combining employee support, systems management, and physical office setup. The engineer partners with the infrastructure engineer on installs, network work, and equipment purchases. As Brain Co. grows, the role may expand to include launching new offices, contributing to endpoint security or identity management, participating in compliance work such as SOC 2 access reviews, and potentially building and leading a small IT support team. The position reports to the Sr. IT Manager and is based at the San Francisco headquarters, with a hybrid schedule of three days per week in person.
