About The Position

Aderant is a global software company providing business management solutions to law firms and other professional services organizations. In this hybrid role, the IT Business Analyst owns intake and analysis of IT projects and initiatives, bridges communication between IT leadership and technical teams, documents stakeholder requirements, and supports successful delivery of business solutions. The position translates business needs into technical requirements, manages project scope and change, and contributes to continuous improvement in IT processes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a business analyst, IT project coordinator, or equivalent role.
• Experience working with IT systems, enterprise tools, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing requirements and process flows or workflows in Jira or similar issue-tracking platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Agile or project management methodologies.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with IT service management, cloud platforms, identity management, or security initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own project intake, requirements analysis, and impact assessment for IT work; clarify stakeholder needs, identify root causes, and ensure specifications are defined before engineering begins.
• Document business processes, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide project execution.
• Coordinate IT initiatives, workstreams, and vendor partnerships, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
• Support change management and risk assessment for IT projects, including scope prioritization and resource allocation discussions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and technical teams to understand evolving requirements and align on solutions.
• Track project progress and support IT leadership with visibility into workload, capacity, and resource planning.
