About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking a Technical Product Owner/Business Analyst for a 12+ month contract with a global financial institution in Newark, Delaware. Working in a hybrid arrangement, this role partners with IT and Business teams to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. As a facilitator between Business and IT, the position contributes to project management and success throughout the project lifecycle. It uses established methods and tools to plan, elicit, analyze, validate, and manage requirements alongside Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and IT interfacing groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent four-year experience in a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical product owner/business analyst role in a project-based environment.
- Experience working on multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experience with Agile tools such as Jira is preferable.
- Good time-management skills, including the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Previous success working in a dynamic environment and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in technology and strong knowledge of project and software development methodologies and techniques.
- Solid presentation, facilitation, interview, and workshop skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Availability and readiness to work directly as a Genesis10 employee.
Nice To Haves
- Prior development experience.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing of requirements, business processes, and high-level solution design.
- Develop test case design and implementation planning and support.
- Partner with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and IT interfacing groups to deliver solutions.
- Communicate effectively at different levels within the organization.
