About The Position

Provides support to the IT department in areas of development and installation of the components/hardware and implementation of information technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Actively checks and responds to emails throughout the day.
  • Completes all mandatory education within given timeframe.
  • Maintains regulatory requirements.
  • Reports to work on time and as scheduled.
  • Wears identification while on duty; uses computerized punch time system correctly.
  • Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner in the community.
  • Attends annual review and department in-services as scheduled.
  • Attends at least 75% of staff meetings; reviews all monthly staff meeting minutes.
  • Actively participates in the department’s quality improvement (QI) activities.
  • Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices and the employee handbook.
  • Communicates the mission, vision and values of the organization as well as the focus of the department.
  • Meets dress code standards for the department; appearance is neat and clean.
  • All Ferry County Health employees are required to maintain confidentiality in accordance with organizational policy, state and federal regulations, including not but limited to, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Nice To Haves

  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Preferred certification in Microsoft MCSE.
  • Experience resolving telephony and desk top related problems preferred.
  • High level of hardware troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Ability to build custom desktop PCs from components.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles and configures network components and associated services.
  • Installs and tests necessary software and hardware
  • Establishes network user, user environments, directories, and security for networks being installed
  • Provides users with network technical support.
  • Installs upgrades and configures network printing, directory structures, rights, and security, software and files services.
  • Upgrades network hardware and software components as required.
  • Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
  • Sets up and maintains basic network operations, including assembly of network hardware, and provides assistance to the network administrator.
  • Responds to needs and questions of users concerning their access of network resources.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by management.
