About The Position

LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc. in Clarksville, TN seeks an IT Assistant Manager. This role is responsible for supporting the IT Manager in overseeing the organization’s technology operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and efficient management of IT resources. The IT Assistant Manager will manage the IT Infrastructure, including network devices, server devices, and IT security devices. They will oversee daily IT operations, ensuring efficient issue resolution and adherence to service level agreements. The role also involves providing second-line support for business applications, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and managing helpdesk operations. Additionally, the IT Assistant Manager will support the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, assist with IT project management, deploy new software versions, and maintain a knowledge base of IT issues and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems Engineering
• Experience with Analysis/Design development
• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Development
• Experience with EIF (Equipment Interface) Program Development
• Experience with MSSQL
• Experience with C#.NET
• Experience with Oracle
• Experience with Modbus Protocol
• Experience with PC to PLC Interface
• Experience with SECS (Semiconductor Equipment Communication Standard) program development
• Experience managing KEPServer Ex (OPC Server) and PCO (SAP Plant Connectivity) Server

Responsibilities

• Supporting IT Manager in overseeing the organization’s technology operations
• Ensuring alignment with business goals and efficient management of IT resources
• Managing the IT Infrastructure
• Maintaining network devices, server devices, and IT security devices
• Overseeing daily IT operations, including managing networks, servers, storage, and end-user devices
• Ensuring efficient issue resolution and adherence to service level agreements
• Providing second-line support for business applications
• Troubleshooting software and hardware issues
• Managing helpdesk operations to ensure timely resolution of technical problems
• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and security systems
• Supporting IT project management by coordinating tasks, implementing change processes, and producing clear reports for stakeholders
• Assisting in deploying new software versions and ensuring system integration across networks
• Maintaining a knowledge base of recurring IT issues and solutions
• Preparing documentation for operational support
