About The Position
The Lydon Lab in the Department of Psychology at McGill University is seeking an IT Assistant B. This role involves maintaining and expanding the lab's public website, troubleshooting technological issues, and assisting in software development for ongoing projects. The position is for a work-study student and requires a High School Diploma with one year of relevant experience. Requirements
- Work-study student
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, or JavaScript or related languages, as well as Query
- Knowledge of servers and experience working with servers in Linux and Windows
- Knowledge of computer technology, especially for troubleshooting
- Experience with both Windows and Mac environments
- High School Diploma with one year of relevant experience in the field of work
- Authorized to work in Canada
- Willing to work in the province of Quebec
- English communication both verbally and in writing (Level 3 on a scale of 0-4)
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of SPSS, R, Inquisit and Qualtrics is an asset
- Knowledge of Ajax is also an asset
- Background or interest in psychology and/or social psychology is a plus
- Bilingualism is an asset

- Maintain and expand on the Lydon Lab's public website
- Troubleshoot any technological issues that may arise
- Assist in developing software for ongoing projects
