About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Asset Technician to join our team in the Information Technology and Services industry. As an Asset Technician, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's physical and digital assets, ensuring efficient operations and optimal functionality. This role requires a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience in asset management or a similar role
Strong knowledge of asset tracking tools and systems
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with industry best practices and standards for asset management
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Manage and track the lifecycle of assets, including procurement, installation, and disposal
Conduct regular audits of physical assets to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
Update and maintain asset inventory systems and databases
Monitor asset utilization and make recommendations for optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper allocation and utilization of assets
Troubleshoot and resolve asset-related issues, escalating as necessary
Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures
Provide training and support to end users on asset management processes and systems
