About The Position

Verdantas is hiring an IT Asset Management Specialist to manage hardware assets throughout their lifecycle, maintain accurate inventory records, support compliance, and provide asset-related data and reporting. The role works with procurement, finance, IT, software asset management, and configuration management teams. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience and 2–4 years of relevant experience. The role offers a salary commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT asset management or a related field.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and asset lifecycle management.
• Experience with asset management tools such as ServiceNow, BMC, or Flexera.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.

Nice To Haves

• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) certification or similar.
• Experience with enterprise environments and large-scale asset inventories.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate hardware asset records using asset management tools such as ServiceNow, Ivanti, or Lansweeper.
• Track hardware assets from acquisition through disposal.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, and IT teams to support timely asset acquisition and deployment.
• Perform regular audits and reconciliations of hardware inventory.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including SOX and ISO.
• Manage hardware refresh cycles and support end-of-life planning.
• Develop and maintain documentation for hardware asset management processes and procedures.
• Generate reports and dashboards covering asset utilization, depreciation, and compliance.
• Support incident and change management processes by providing asset-related data.
• Collaborate with software asset management and configuration management database teams.
