About The Position

The IT Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst, also referred to as an Operations Support Coordinator (IT Asset), will be responsible for managing operational requests and workflows within ServiceNow, specifically focusing on hardware assets. This role involves monitoring shared mailboxes for asset updates, handling inquiries, coordinating inventory tracking, shipment documentation, and supporting warehouse operations. The analyst will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

• Experience working with assets in the CMDB table in ServiceNow
• Experience in ServiceNow working directly with assets.
• Proven experience in an operational support role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented with a proactive approach to tasks
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems or warehouse management software

Nice To Haves

• A strong understanding of hardware assets in ServiceNow, including how to interpret asset history and making updates in the hardware asset table
• Intermediate Excel skills are preferred
• Familiarity with Power BI is a nice bonus

Responsibilities

• Monitoring two shared mailboxes for asset updates, handling asset refresh inquiries, and working with Absolute.
• Manage operational requests and workflows through ServiceNow
• Coordination of inventory tracking, shipment documentation, and other warehouse-related activities.
• Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications using Microsoft Outlook
• Support the warehouse team with documentation, shipment tracking, and reporting
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient warehouse operations
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend operational enhancements
• Assist with inventory tracking and documentation related to incoming and outgoing shipments
