About The Position

iT1 is seeking a motivated IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) Associate to support its ITAD business. The role processes, refurbishes, and dispositions IT assets and assists with e-commerce sales. Responsibilities include receiving, sorting, testing, cleaning, data-wiping, and re-imaging assets for resale or disposal; managing e-commerce listings, inventory, pricing, customer inquiries, orders, and shipments; and supporting end-of-life asset processing. The associate helps ensure ITAD work complies with company policies and environmental standards and maintains a clean, organized facility.

Requirements

• Completed high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to produce high-standard deliverables under time constraints.
• Experience interacting with external customers, preferably in an e-commerce setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, especially when handling customer service issues.
• Good documentation skills for tracking inventory, sales, and customer communication.
• Ability to accurately follow written work instructions.
• Ability to work in a structured environment.
• Strong organization, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as eBay, Amazon, or others.
• Ability to drive a box truck.
• Ability to maintain a consistent pace while performing monotonous tasks.
• Ability to work independently without constant instruction.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to change quickly from one task to another.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of IT assets such as laptops, desktops, and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and test IT assets for resale or disposal.
• Refurbish and prepare IT assets for resale, including cleaning, data wiping, and re-imaging.
• Assist with the e-commerce platform by listing assets, monitoring pricing, and responding to customer inquiries.
• Ship and receive e-commerce orders.
• Create and print shipping labels for e-commerce shipments.
• Maintain accurate e-commerce inventory and stock levels.
• Audit and reconcile e-commerce orders against shipping logs and inventory systems.
• Handle customer service issues related to e-commerce transactions, including returns and inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ITAD facility.
• Process end-of-life assets.
• Assist with the overall ITAD process to ensure compliance with company policies and environmental standards.
