About The Position

The IT Asset Coordinator manages and tracks hardware and software assets at the National Logistics and Distribution Center in Maryland Heights. The role maintains documentation and inventory records, supports asset lifecycle management, and coordinates with departments to ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures. It also supports IT incidents and problems through a ticketing system and assists with daily IT support and deployment operations.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or associate degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in asset management software and tools.

• Two or more years of experience in hardware and software asset management or a related role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT and software assets.
• Track hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely purchase of hardware and software assets.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with IT asset management standards.
• Support asset tagging, asset movement, and asset disposal processes.
• Generate reports on asset status, utilization, and lifecycle.
• Ensure software license compliance and manage software renewals.
• Help resolve IT incidents and problems using a ticketing system; track issues, prioritize tasks, ensure timely resolution, and escalate complex issues as necessary.
• Assist with daily IT support and deployment operations, ensuring alignment with company strategic objectives.
