About The Position
Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an IT App Dev Engr II for multiple positions in Bellevue, Washington. This role involves translating high-level business requirements into functional and detailed designs, working with cross-divisional teams to develop systems, prototypes, and host systems/platforms. The position also includes discovering, documenting, and automating business processes, working with multiple high-volume data sources to generate reports, owning system performance, and providing continuous improvements. The goal is to build platforms that increase Free Cash Flow, reduce costs, improve productivity, or increase controllership for Finance Operations and Central Accounting businesses, enabling growth through scalable and reliable technology solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- One year of experience in the job offered or as a Computer Systems Analyst, Software Engineer or Developer, or a related occupation.
- One year of experience in using database design, data structures and complexity analysis.
- One year of experience in providing application support using Oracle, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, UNIX/Linux shell scripting, and ETL tools.
Responsibilities

- Own the system performance and provide continuous improvements.

- Enable Finance Operations and Central Accounting by building scalable, reliable technology solutions that facilitate Amazon's growth.
