About The Position

This role involves translating high-level business requirements into functional and detailed designs. The engineer will collaborate with a cross-divisional team to develop systems, prototypes, and host systems/platforms. Key responsibilities include discovering, documenting, and automating business processes, working with multiple high-volume data sources to generate reports, and owning system performance with a focus on continuous improvement. The goal is to build platforms that enhance Free Cash Flow, reduce costs, improve productivity, or increase controllership for Finance Operations and Central Accounting businesses, enabling Amazon's growth through scalable and reliable technology solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
One year of experience in the job offered or as a Computer Systems Analyst, Software Engineer or Developer, or a related occupation.
One year of experience in using database design, data structures and complexity analysis.
One year of experience in providing application support using Oracle, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, UNIX/Linux shell scripting, and ETL tools.
