ISO 9001 Auditor at Buffalo NY 1099 Contractor
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced ISO 9001 Auditor for a 1099 contract role. The primary responsibility will be to perform audits at our clients' suppliers' manufacturing sites using Pro QC checklists. The role involves identifying risks, highlighting potential issues through process audits, classifying findings against ISO 9001 requirements, and communicating these findings to the audit team. A key part of the role is issuing audit reports within the specified deadlines. This is a contract position with project durations that may vary based on client needs. The current project is for 2 man-days on a regular day shift, but schedules can vary depending on site availability.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience as a ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- Require a manufacturing and operations backgrounds: Manufacturing (automotive, aerospace, electronics, metal fabrication, plastics, etc.)
- Engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, chemical)
- Quality assurance and quality control
- Operations and production management
- Supply chain and logistics
- Construction and infrastructure
- Food processing and packaging
- Healthcare and medical devices
- Energy and utilities
- Must be able to travel to AKRON, NY 14001 and nearby areas
Responsibilities
- Performing the audit at the manufacturing sites of our clients' suppliers per Pro QC checklists.
- Using the process audit to identify relevant risks and point out potential issues.
- Looking at audit findings and classifying them against the ISO 9001 requirements.
- Communicate findings with the audit team and issue audit report within due day.
