About The Position

Pro QC International is seeking experienced ISO 9001 Lead Auditors for contract roles. The primary responsibility will be to conduct audits at client supplier manufacturing sites using Pro QC checklists. Auditors will identify risks, pinpoint potential issues, classify findings against ISO 9001 requirements, and communicate results to the audit team, issuing a report by the due date. This is a 1099 contract role with project durations that may vary based on client needs. The current project involves 2 man-days during a regular day shift, but schedules can vary depending on site availability. Pro QC International has been assisting clients in bringing better quality products to market since 1984, resolving quality and production challenges, and reducing supply chain risk and cost across 88 countries.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience as a ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• Require a manufacturing and operations backgrounds: Manufacturing (automotive, aerospace, electronics, metal fabrication, plastics, etc.)
• Engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, chemical)
• Quality assurance and quality control
• Operations and production management
• Supply chain and logistics
• Construction and infrastructure
• Food processing and packaging
• Healthcare and medical devices
• Energy and utilities
• Must be able to travel to AKRON, NY 14001 and nearby areas

Responsibilities

• Performing the audit at the manufacturing sites of our clients' suppliers per Pro QC checklists.
• Using the process audit to identify relevant risks and point out potential issues.
• Looking at audit findings and classifying them against the ISO 9001 requirements.
• Communicate findings with the audit team and issue audit report within due day.
