About The Position

This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for landscaping and grounds. The role involves ensuring the efficient operation of watering systems to maintain the health and appearance of the grounds.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid Nevada Driver's License.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in irrigation system installation and repair.
Knowledge of irrigation system components, including controllers, valves, pipes, and sprinkler heads.
Ability to read and interpret irrigation plans and blueprints.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools related to irrigation work.
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, digging, and working in various weather conditions.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Irrigation Technician certification.
Experience with different types of irrigation controllers (e.g., Hunter, Rain Bird).
Knowledge of water conservation techniques.

Responsibilities

Install new irrigation systems according to plans and specifications.
Repair and maintain existing irrigation systems, including pipes, valves, sprinklers, and controllers.
Troubleshoot and diagnose irrigation system problems.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on irrigation equipment.
Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in irrigation work.
Respond to service calls and emergency repairs.
Keep records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
