About The Position
WQS Industrial Services Ltd. is recruiting IRATA Certified, B-Pressure Stainless Steel Journeyman Welders for the 2026 Fall Turnaround Season, with major projects in the Fort McMurray region. This role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team with a people-first culture and contribute to a season focused on excellence. The schedule is typically 6 days on, 1 day off, with 12-hour days, though this may vary during pre-work. The anticipated turnaround duration is from August 2026 to October 2026. Flights and camp accommodations are provided by the company. A Competitive Local Incentive Program (LIP) is available for IRATA Level 3 employees local to Fort McMurray.
Requirements
- Rope Access IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification or interest in obtaining your IRATA certification.
- Registered Journeyman B-Pressure Welder certification.
- Experience welding stainless steel.
- Must be Fit for Duty at all times and be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Demonstrate high standards of safety and align with best-in-class company culture.
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract.
