About The Position

Penn Stainless is seeking a qualified Invoicing Specialist to join their team. Founded in 1949, Penn Stainless Products, Inc. is a growing specialty metal full-line service center with locations in Quakertown and Jackson Center, PA. Penn Stainless Products practices on-going process improvements to ensure that we supply our customers with the highest level of stainless-steel products and in-house processing. This is an onsite position with full-time work hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Requirements

Good communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Associate degree in business or High School Diploma or GED and over 2 years' experience in billing and invoicing

Nice To Haves

Cost Accounting experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Accurately and efficiently compile amounts owed from bill of ladings into ERP System.
Verifying invoice completion of all material shipped and available to bill.
Prepare and record transactions associated with the billing process.
Verify weights and amounts on bill of ladings with totals on the sales order.
Accurately and efficiently review edit details according to specified costing criteria.
Researching all discrepancies and variances.
Complete and print all invoices and credits, including Pro Forma invoice upon request.
Scan and index daily invoices and credits in ERP System.
Maintain accuracy of archived invoices.
Answer all customer questions in regard to invoicing or billing.
Work with all departments, including sales, shipping office, and warehouse to support billing related questions.
Maintain accurate records and reports concerning daily deposits, billing amounts, pounds invoiced and number of invoices generated.
