About The Position

Santander US Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) is seeking talented individuals for its 2027 Investment Banking Summer Associate Program. This program is designed for MBA students with an expected graduation date of May/June 2028, offering a comprehensive introduction to Santander CIB's capabilities. Participants will gain hands-on experience, developing both technical and interpersonal skills while working alongside experienced professionals. The program emphasizes a customer-centric transformation, encouraging bold thinking and innovation. Santander CIB provides strategic advice to corporate clients, assisting them with capital raising, mergers, acquisitions, and risk management. The program aims to equip participants with the skills to become thoughtful, strategic advisors, focusing on client service and building long-term relationships.

Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) students with an expected graduation date of May/June 2028.
  • 3+ years of prior work experience.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a desire to exceed expectations.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and courage in leadership.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to develop solutions to complex challenges.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently on special projects.
