About The Position

Citizens is seeking early-career professionals to join the execution team within its Capital Markets & Sponsor Finance Group. The Analyst II works closely with senior professionals to originate, structure, and execute leveraged finance transactions, primarily in the U.S. middle market. The role involves regular transaction participation from origination through closing and managing multiple projects and transactions concurrently. Analysts play a critical role on deal teams and interact with senior management, other Citizens groups, client senior management teams, private equity investment teams, and legal counsel. They support senior professionals across multiple industries and perform analyses related to investment products.

Requirements

• Ideally, 1–2 or more years of experience in investment banking or Big 4 Deals Advisory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating and executing assigned investment transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, securities issuance, and capital restructuring.
• Provide financial analysis reports for investment transactions.
• Prepare marketing documentation, including pitch materials and board and management presentations.
• Draft memorandums and road show presentations for client companies.
