Inventory Associate
About The Position
The Inventory Specialist works on a local field team conducting physical stock counts and audit reporting for retail and convenience partners across the Jacksonville region. The role involves traveling with a regional team to scheduled retail sites and counting merchandise on sales floors, in backroom storage, and in cooler spaces using handheld scanners. The associate collaborates with store managers to confirm counts before completing each daily audit. Paid, hands-on training is provided starting on the first day. This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday role with a 6:00 AM start and weekends off. The starting rate is $19.00 per hour, paid weekly. Route travel time and mileage between client sites are paid. The position is based in Jacksonville, Florida, serving the surrounding regional area.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license, active personal auto insurance, and a dependable personal vehicle.
- Comfort with an on-site start time of 6:00 AM each day.
- Ability to pass standard background and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reviews.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Ability to work on your feet for the full shift.
Responsibilities
- Accurately count and scan retail merchandise on sales floors, in backroom storage, and in cooler spaces using 10-key handheld scanners.
- Travel daily with the regional team to scheduled retail sites across the local territory.
- Work alongside store managers to confirm accurate counts before completing the daily audit.
- Move, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds in retail environments.
