About The Position

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for inventory integrity within a Pacific Sales Kitchen and Home department. The role handles accurate shipping and receiving, will-call product processing, review of unaccounted inventory reports, warehouse inventory scanning, and maintaining a neat and organized warehouse. The specialist also supports department merchandising by moving product on and off the sales floor and is cross-trained in Customer Service to process customer orders. The position requires teamwork with the Customer Service team to meet warehouse inventory and customer service goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of inventory, warehouse, or stockroom experience.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or bachelor's degree or above in a technical or related field.

Responsibilities

• Scan incoming shipments from distribution centers and transfer products to distribution centers.
• Process will-call products for customers.
• Prepare floor-stock products for customer pickup or shipment, including frequent lifting of packages weighing 35–70 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation as needed.
• Review and reconcile unaccounted reports to support inventory integrity.
• Regularly monitor the warehouse to keep inventory levels current and help alleviate aging product.
• Support proper merchandising, installation, and pricing for customers.
• Lead store safety initiatives, including completing the monthly safety checklist.
• Process Pacific Sales customer transactions quickly, accurately, and in a friendly manner.
• Prepare the store for annual physical inventory to help ensure proper execution.
• Work with the Customer Service team to achieve warehouse inventory and customer service goals.
