About The Position

Allagash International Group, LLC and its product line Nor'East Controls, a valve and controls manufacturing company, and Blake Thermal Sales & Service, Inc., a manufacturers' representative of thermal energy solutions, are seeking an associate to support both organizations in their shared space in Portland, Maine. The role supports shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations for both businesses, working with a team guided by the values Customer Focused, Opportunity is Earned, Solution Provider, Trustworthy, Driven to Succeed, and Confident but Humble. The associate will process outbound raw materials and finished goods, receive inbound manufacturing product and returns, place inventory in appropriate warehouse locations, maintain shipping and receiving records, and keep the warehouse organized. Forklift use is required; training is provided if needed. Necessary tools and safety equipment are provided. The organizations aim to repurpose shipping materials to minimize environmental impact, using foam packers and paper as their primary packaging methods. Training is provided as needed. Applicants must have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Shipping and receiving experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to operate a computer accurately, prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment, maintain service quality, and work effectively with a team. Employment is contingent on completing a background check and drug test, and hires must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Requirements

High school diploma.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Ship and receive products in a shared warehouse supporting Nor'East Controls and Blake Thermal Sales & Service, Inc.
Pack and process outgoing raw materials and finished goods.
Receive inbound products for manufacturing and process returns.
Place and store incoming products in the appropriate warehouse locations.
Process shipping and receiving paperwork and notify the appropriate parties when job-specific products arrive.
Organize and maintain a clean, well-organized warehouse.
Construct pallets as needed.
Use a forklift; training will be provided if required.
Repurpose shipping materials where possible to minimize environmental impact.
