About The Position

The Inventory Coordinator reviews new orders and creates bills of material to commit inventory for all LM actuators. The role oversees inventory control, including purchasing stock and establishing and maintaining sufficient inventory levels, to ensure business operations have the materials needed to meet their objectives. The position also conducts yearly physical inventory verification.

Requirements

Proven experience as an inventory coordinator or in a similar position.
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of inventory management software, such as ERP systems.
Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.
Analytical mindset and strong math skills.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Reliable and trustworthy.
BSc/BA in business administration, logistics, or a relevant field.

Responsibilities

Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures.
Inspect component and raw-material levels to identify shortages.
Ensure material stock meets production department needs based on customer orders and forecasts.
Analyze data to anticipate future needs.
Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.
Use software to monitor demand and document inventory characteristics.
Place replenishment orders while avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus.
Request quotations and negotiate prices for items to be ordered.
Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trusted relationships.
Report stock levels and issues to the Production Manager.
Verify received inventory against specifications and quality standards.
Fulfill parts orders.
Ensure the CRM system contains relevant information about ongoing orders.
Conduct yearly physical inventory verification.
