Inventory Coordinator: 1.0 FTE: Day Shift

About The Position

The Inventory Coordinator maintains sufficient supply inventory to meet customer needs and coordinates the daily activities of the Supply Chain team. The role ensures that receiving, distribution, and inventory management processes are completed accurately and on time. It also assists with implementing system and regional value analysis team supply standardization and serves as an inventory consultant for reporting on UPH-Meriter supply inventories and service lines.

Requirements

Associate degree or three years of equivalent experience in an inventory management position.
At least three years of experience as a hospital or retail purchasing assistant, or progressive experience in a hospital purchasing area.
Experience with an automated inventory system.
Fluent ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
Proficiency with business tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for timely completion of job responsibilities.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively to negotiate purchases.
Spatial perception to plan supply storage.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree.
Experience in analytics, including understanding the healthcare industry, gathering report requirements, and designing and implementing solutions.
Experience analyzing data and with accounting or financial procedures.
