About The Position

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor for their 2nd shift. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and tracking, managing item transitions, allocation, demand planning, and scheduling. The supervisor will lead a team responsible for various inventory functions including physical inventory, cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and SKU relocation using WMS, RF scanning, and ERP systems. The primary goal is to enhance inventory accuracy, picking accuracy, and overall efficiency by effectively managing the company's inventory.

Responsibilities

Assist the organization with inventory accuracy and tracking, item transition, allocation, demand planning and scheduling.
Supervise people conducting inventory functions including physical inventory, cycle counts, inventory adjustments, SKU relocation utilizing a WMS, RF scanning and an ERP system.
Drive inventory accuracy, picking accuracy and efficiency by leading their team to manage the company’s inventory effectively.
Lead a team to manage the day-to-day operations and activities of facilities and programs effectively and efficiently in an assigned area.
Solicit feedback from Team Leads and Associate Supervisor related to performance and take corrective action when needed.
Lead in the recruitment, hiring, promoting, and terminating processes as needed.
Work with manager to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Set schedules according to workload.
Serve as a back-up in the absence of the Manager.
Foster a high degree of morale among associates, including providing feedback, recognition, and rewards.
Conduct or delegate shift start-up meetings; communicate information related to culture, safety, production, accuracy, recognition, and facility/HR updates to keep team members informed.
Lead the performance review process and enter ratings in PEAK.
Provide timely, ongoing communication ensuring the appropriate dissemination of information to team leads and associates within the area.
Responsible for creating overall shift schedules and serving as back up for the Manager.
Final payroll approver in Kronos.
Identify measures that can improve various warehouse processes without the additional financial burden.
Develop all employees to become a valuable part of the team to ensure their skills are at par with warehouse standards and regulations.
Responsible for identifying and growing future team leaders within Milwaukee Tool.
Provide formal and informal feedback on an ongoing basis and lead the annual performance evaluation process to identify and develop talent.
Recommend employee corrective actions including recommendations for termination.
Establish operational strategy and related activities to facilitate consistent area goal achievement.
Maintain and enforce a clean and safe working environment.
Drive safety and culture and hold team members accountable for compliance including but not limited to adhering to safety incident reporting/protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned.
