About The Position

The Inventory Control Clerk ensures materials, packaging materials, and ingredients are stored in assigned locations and properly identified. The role reconciles physical inventory counts against database records, corrects discrepancies, maintains accurate counts, and researches misplaced inventory. The clerk also helps issue and return materials, packaging materials, and ingredients between the production floor and warehouse, and keeps equipment and materials rooms clean and organized. Other relevant duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials, packaging materials, and ingredients are in their assigned locations and properly identified.
• Reconcile physical inventory counts against inventory counts in the database and correct discrepancies.
• Keep equipment and materials rooms clean and organized.
• Maintain accurate material counts.
• Research misplaced inventory.
• Assist with issuing and returning materials, packaging materials, and ingredients between the production floor and warehouse.
• Perform other relevant duties.
