Inventory Control Lead - 2nd Shift
About The Position
The Inventory Control Lead supports the Inventory Control Manager by performing daily inventory activities and helping maintain inventory accuracy throughout the facility. The role includes inventory adjustments, cycle counts, batch and code corrections, and responding to internal customer inquiries about inventory issues. The Lead also supports employee training and development on inventory processes and systems. This position works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM. Overtime may be required depending on business needs. The work takes place in a warehouse environment with possible temperature changes and varying conditions, and involves physically demanding and repetitive tasks.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Perform continuous or repetitive movements, including grasping, reaching, and handling materials.
- Stand and walk for extended periods, up to a 12-hour shift.
- Work in a warehouse environment with temperature changes and varying conditions.
- Operate or work around warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Wear required personal protective equipment, such as safety shoes, gloves, or hearing protection.
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Bend, stoop, and twist throughout a shift.
- Lift objects weighing up to 60 pounds, with or without assistance.
- Perform physically demanding work that may involve repetitive motion and manually or mechanically lifting, carrying, or moving materials.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily inventory activities and support inventory accuracy throughout the facility.
- Make inventory adjustments, perform cycle counts, and correct batches and codes.
- Respond to internal customer inquiries related to inventory issues.
- Support the training and development of employees on inventory processes and systems.
- Work scheduled shifts and overtime when required by business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
