About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk to maintain inventory accuracy by verifying inbound and outbound orders and ensuring inventory entries and adjustments are accurately reflected in the warehouse management system. The position also includes directing a work group by assigning schedules, training associates, monitoring progress, providing day-to-day guidance, and managing daily workloads.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Pay is $20.00, with an additional $1.00 incentive. The role is onsite.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of warehouse experience and leadership experience.
• Forklift experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of warehousing and inventory experience is preferred.
• A forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment is preferred.
• Experience or skills in lead, supervisor, production, warehouse, general labor, quality control, material handling, or dock stocking.

Responsibilities

• Assign work schedules, train associates, and monitor the progress of the work group being directed.
• Provide day-to-day direction and guidance to the work group and manage daily workloads.
• Maintain inventory records and perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust the system as necessary.
• Accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product according to procedures.
• Verify inbound and outbound orders and ensure inventory entries and adjustments are accurately reflected in the warehouse management system.
• Perform routine clerical assignments, including filing invoices and maintaining records.
