About The Position
This position is for an Introduction to Plant Science course (BIO2137, Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course covers the evolution of plant diversity, physiological and anatomical concepts, metabolism including photosynthesis, and recent applications in ecology and biotechnology. The course component includes laboratory and lecture. Prerequisites include 6 course units from BIO 1131, BIO 1141, BIO 1150. The expected enrollment is 185 students. The language of instruction is English.
Requirements
- Postdoctoral training in the appropriate area of Biology
- Evidence of success as a teacher at the relevant university level
- Competence in English
