About The Position
Introduction to painting through direct experience of its materials and procedures: the picture plane, surface, format, frame, pigment and colour, forms, composition. Applicants are reminded of the importance of ensuring that ALL prior experience and relevant credentials are reflected in the curriculum vitae. Applicants are asked to provide a visual record of recent works. These documents can be sent electronically to [email protected]. This class will be offered in person.
Requirements
- Master of Fine Arts or equivalent
- Established reputation in contemporary art
- Teaching experience at the post-secondary level
- Competence in second language: Passive
Responsibilities
- Teach Introduction to Painting course (ART1311C Section C)
- Ensure all prior experience and relevant credentials are reflected in the curriculum vitae
- Provide a visual record of recent works
- Complete all mandatory legislated training
