About The Position

United Health Services Hospitals is seeking an Attending Interventional Spine Physician to join their UHS Spine Care & Pain Relief practice. This role supports growth and succession planning in non-operative spine care. The practice is well-established with a strong referral base and a large primary care network. The team currently consists of two interventional spine physicians, five advanced practice providers, one clinical psychologist, and one social worker, handling over 4,000 interventional procedures and 24,000 clinic visits annually. The physician will perform a full spectrum of non-operative/interventional spine care procedures, including fluoroscopy-guided spine injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and other advanced interventional techniques. The position is primarily located in Binghamton, NY, with outreach clinics in Norwich and Walton. Procedures are conducted in a hospital-sponsored, four-OR ambulatory surgery center adjacent to the clinic, ensuring efficiency and an excellent patient experience. The practice is supported by a multidisciplinary team, including Physical Therapy specialists, five neurosurgeons, and a chiropractic team, fostering a collaborative approach to spine care.

Requirements

  • Board-certified/board-eligible physician.
  • Residency training in PM&R.
  • Fellowship training in Pain Medicine.
