About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiologist to provide care in an inpatient hospital setting at a Level 1 trauma center in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. The patient population consists primarily of adults. This locum position includes general interventional radiology and cerebral embolectomy services, weekday and weekend case coverage, overnight pager call, and occasional after-hours procedures. The role uses Epic for electronic medical record documentation and patient records and involves collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency (required).
• Completion of fellowship training (required).
• A minimum of two years of clinical practice experience (required).
• Board certification in a relevant specialty.
• Active Minnesota state medical license.
• ACLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Epic systems (preferred).
• Active Minnesota medical license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality interventional radiology services, including general IR and cerebral embolectomy.
• Manage approximately 10 cases per day on weekdays and 6 cases per day on weekends.
• Participate in overnight pager call with a beeper call ratio of 1:2.
• Use Epic for EMR documentation and patient records.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide call coverage for occasional after-hours procedures.
