Requirements

• Board certification in Interventional Cardiology.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active Virginia state medical license.
• Clean malpractice history.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Availability for the specified dates; no exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology services, including balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, and heart catheterization.
• Manage vascular diseases and perform coronary angiograms.
• Participate in on-call rotations and manage routine and emergent cases.
• Coordinate with other interventional cardiologists and healthcare providers during coverage.
• Document patient interactions and procedures in the EPIC system.
• Provide patient care for adult and geriatric populations.
• Handle a minimum of two daily inpatient admissions.
