About The Position

We are seeking a locum General Cardiologist to provide coverage as soon as credentialed. The position is based primarily in a welcoming outpatient clinic in Silverdale, Washington, with some duties at Port Townsend once privileges are granted. The physician will work with an integrated support team that includes medical assistants and registered nurses, collaborating to provide patient care.

Requirements

• Board certification in Cardiology.
• Strong patient management skills and attention to detail.
• Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) with License Ownership Questionnaire (LOQ) in hand.
• Active DEA, ACLS, and BLS certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Washington State Medical License.
• Clean malpractice history.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up appointments.
• Manage transfer-of-care patients.
• Close patient encounters within 24 hours.
• Review and result ECGs ordered for patient care and manage Zio monitors as needed.
• Supervise nursing visits and stress tests, including signing off on nursing documentation.
• Work primarily in the office setting, with some duties at Port Townsend once privileges are granted.
