About The Position
A locum physician opportunity in anesthesiology at a Level II Trauma Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The role focuses primarily on general and obstetric cases and is intended to provide support for a critical provider shortage. The assignment is expected to begin November 2nd and last 6 to 9 months. The physician will work with a team of CRNAs and MDs in a busy, high-volume environment.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology.
- Active Arkansas medical license.
- DEA certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with obstetric anesthesia.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for general and obstetric cases.
- Supervise CRNA(s) and perform epidural placements.
- Ensure quality patient care in a busy, high-volume environment.
- Collaborate with a team of CRNAs and MDs.
- Participate in surgical procedures, primarily general and obstetric cases.
