Interventional Cardiologist
About The Position
This role involves evaluating and treating patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. The physician will serve as the key admitting, attending, or consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, actively accepting referrals and collaborating closely with other physicians, medical staff, and hospital administration. The position also includes providing essential specialty consultation services for both inpatient and outpatient settings, which may involve participation in rotational on-call schedules. Additionally, the role may involve participating in academic programs such as medical education and research, and providing appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements, including appealing all denials in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

- Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
- Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.
