About The Position

Knapp Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join its cardiovascular service line in Weslaco, Texas. The role is an employed opportunity through a hospital-affiliated medical group, serving the growing Rio Grande Valley. The program offers immediate patient volume, an established referral network, dedicated Cath Lab support, and opportunities to participate in program development and growth initiatives.

The scope of practice includes coronary angiography and interventions, cardiac catheterization procedures, inpatient and outpatient consultations, and cardiovascular disease management. Peripheral vascular interventions are preferred. The physician will participate in quality improvement and cardiovascular program development. The position includes a competitive call schedule and offers competitive base salary, productivity incentives, and earning potential. Requirements

• MD or DO.
• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease; Board Eligibility is also referenced in the position overview.
• Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology.
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure.
• Strong clinical and procedural skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.
