About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for an Interventional Cardiologist at Providence Medical Group Cardiology in Everett, WA. The role involves providing inpatient coverage, including clinical duties and on-call responsibilities. The physician will manage an average of 7 patients per day, perform rounding, and handle phone consults. The position requires flexibility to fill open shifts and provide ongoing coverage throughout 2027, potentially including weekday and weekend rotations. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system and is supported by 4 APPs.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- WA State License or IMLC
- DEA
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification

- Fellowship completion is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide interventional cardiology coverage for inpatient service at Providence Medical Group Cardiology in Everett, WA.
- Perform onsite clinical duties from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing patient volume and providing specialized cardiac care.
- Take overnight beeper call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a 30-minute response radius, ensuring continuous patient coverage.
- Fill open shifts due to late cancellation and provide consistent coverage multiple shifts per month for continuity of care.
- Collaborate with the locums pool for ongoing 2027 coverage needs, including weekday and weekend rotations.
