About The Position

Ascension St. Vincent is a leading tertiary referral center and home to one of the Midwest’s most advanced cardiology programs. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated cardiologist to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of cardiologists and APPs. This is an employed position within a nonprofit health system. The role involves robust clinical research programs in advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension and critical care. Malpractice coverage with tail is provided. The facility is an 800-bed tertiary care hospital and a Level One trauma center. While based in Marion County, the hospital's service area effectively encompasses much of Central Indiana. It has an integrated referral network and is part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system.

Requirements

Fellowship training in Cardiology
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
Eligible for Indiana state medical licensure and DEA registration
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with high-level diagnostic precision.
Manage patient discharge and care transitions with multidisciplinary teams.
Deliver expert medical services to patients in assigned areas.
