Interventional Cardiologist
About The Position
We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Springfield, MO. This is an inpatient, call-only role covering supplemental needs from November 23, 2026, ongoing. The position involves providing interventional call coverage and hospital coverage, including STEMI response. Responsibilities include performing cath lab procedures, managing inpatient interventional cardiology consults, conducting rounding, and providing comprehensive inpatient care. The physician will collaborate with a dedicated care team and utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation and order entry. This role requires participation in a 1:5 in-house call rotation with a 30-minute response time.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Licensed in MO or IMLC
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Responsibilities
- Provide interventional call coverage and hospital coverage including STEMI response.
- Perform cath lab procedures and manage inpatient interventional cardiology consults.
- Conduct rounding for assigned patients and provide comprehensive inpatient care.
