About The Position
Cabarrus Health Alliance is seeking a dedicated and professional Spanish-language Interpreter to support patients and clinical staff within our Family Medicine and Women's Health Clinics. This role is essential in ensuring clear communication, high-quality patient care, and efficient clinic operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous or current experience interpreting in a professional medical setting
- Fluency in English and Spanish required
- Must pass Interpreter Assessment pre-hire
- Ability to interpret from Spanish to English and English to Spanish
- Knowledge of medical terminology in both languages
- Thorough knowledge of standard office practices, procedures and office assistance techniques
Responsibilities
- Assist in the provision of care by interpreting from English to Spanish and Spanish to English
- Interview clients and obtain financial information, medical and personal data
- Assist department with administrative duties as time allows
