About The Position

This internship offers students hands-on experience with graphic design software, project creation, and support for large-scale departmental projects. The role is situated in a fast-paced environment with networking opportunities and high-impact projects, working closely with the Food & Beverage management team and collaborators to support operations.

Requirements

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • A transcript is required upon application.
  • Must have a graduation date later than April 2027.
  • Must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred majors include: Graphic Design or similar.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
  • Portfolio of work examples (web address with resume).

Responsibilities

  • Assists management team in creating both long and short-form content.
  • Produces project deliverables such as menus and signages, brand books, documentation of brand standards, and communication content.
  • Supports the implementation of technology to enhance processes.
  • Aligns each project with the goal of positively affecting guest satisfaction, team member satisfaction, and financial return for the department.
  • Creates measurable Key Performance Indicators for tasks.
  • Partners with many departments including Universal Creative Placemaking, Marketing, Finance, and Entertainment to achieve goals.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
