About The Position

This internship will provide students with hands-on experience in graphic design software, project production, and support for large-scale projects within the Food & Beverage department. The role is situated in a fast-paced environment, offering networking opportunities and involvement in high-impact projects. The intern will work closely with the Food & Beverage management team and key collaborators to produce work that supports the operation.

Requirements

In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
A transcript is required upon application.
Must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2027.
This position requires a portfolio of work examples – if available, include a web address with your resume.

Nice To Haves

Preferred majors include: Graphic Design or similar.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.

Responsibilities

Assists management team in creating both long and short-form content.
Produces project deliverables such as menus and signages, brand books, documentation of brand standards, and communication content.
Supports the implementation of technology to enhance processes.
Aligns each project with the goal of positively affecting guest satisfaction, team member satisfaction, and financial return for the department.
Creates measurable Key Performance Indicators for tasks.
Partners with many departments including Universal Creative Placemaking, Marketing, Finance, and Entertainment to achieve goals.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
