About The Position

Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana is seeking an intern to support compliance training and technology. The role assists with developing training materials and curriculum, maintaining learning content and job aids, and supporting the Learning Management System (LMS) and related technologies. The intern also helps resolve system and user issues, manage course content and reports, and respond to audit evidence requests. The position is hybrid and located in Okemos, Michigan.

Requirements

• Be a sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Communications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Education.
• Be savvy with technology and have ideas for incorporating technology into training and business processes.
• Have working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Planner.
• Be organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to manage your own time.
• Have strong communication and writing skills.
• Be able to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate creativity in presenting lengthy information in an engaging format.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Snagit, Articulate, and Camtasia.
• Experience with video editing, instructional design, and/or graphic design.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, development, and production of company training content and curriculum.
• Maintain job aids and how-to guides for Learning Management System applications.
• Provide daily support and maintain the ongoing operations of the LMS and supporting technologies.
• Address system or user issues promptly and in a timely manner.
• Maintain content within SharePoint, the LMS, Articulate, and repositories by creating and uploading modules, courses, and course content, and running reports.
• Assist with audit requests by providing relevant evidence in a timely manner.
• Prepare, deliver, and manage reports as requested by content owners.
